Day 2

Moms

Vera Bradley has a knack for pretty bags and these Tune In bags just happen to be very practical too.  Use this little case to hold your small mp3 player and wrap the ear buds around the pull-out bobbin to prevent a jumbled mess in your purse.  I actually use this little case for my earbuds alone.

So Why would I think moms would love this nifty little bag?  Because everywhere I have gone and pulled this cute little bag out I have heard things like “Oh, wow!  Where did you get that?”  Makes me think that Vera Bradley stumbled upon something pretty neat.  I know I am a huge fan!

Babies

I admit that I have handed my youngest my iPhone plenty of times to keep her entertained while I was shopping.  Now with this Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Apptivity Case I don’t have to worry so much about how she handles it.  Now for you can let your little one ages 6 months-4 years play with your phone and keep it safe at the same time.

The Laugh & Learn Apptivity Case is compatible with: iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod touch 2nd, 3rd & 4th generation.

Kids
Today, for my recommendation for kids, I am going with something you cannot go wrong with for either boys or girls, ages 4-99+.

LEGOs are so much fun and they come in so many different sets and varieties.  My daughters and my son have all used LEGO’s and spent countless hours building and using their imaginations. I remember playing with them as a kid and still enjoy them as an adult.  LEGOs are a great toy to use to spend time together with your kids.

Since we are on the topic of gifts what was your favorite toy as a kid?  I think mine were the Sylvanian Family miniature animal families that I think are now called Calico Critters. I had so much fun with them.

My Favorite New Clothing Company and An Outfit for Relevant 2011

In case you missed it I have a new favorite clothing companyLands’ End Canvas is modern, fresh, comfortable fashion that is great for women and men.  I have loved every piece that I have gotten from them and tend to drool a bit when I receive their catalogs in the mail.

I have been given the amazing privileged of wearing a great sponsored Lands’ End Canvas outfit to The Relevant Conference this year. It is thrilling for me to get to be a part of Relevant this year and wearing Lands’ End Canvas just tops off the whole experience for me.  So look for me {if you are attending Relevant} or watch for more blog posts about what I wore and why I like Lands’ End Canvas oh, so much. Here’s just a hint at what I am wearing here.

The Beauty of Being There Even When You Can’t {A Review & Giveway}

I have both momma’s girls and daddy’s girls.  My momma’s girls don’t like to go to bed when I am not around to tuck them in even when their daddy does a fine job with prayers and stories and tickles.

Recordable Storybooks from DaySpring are a great solution to the occasional lack of momma at bedtime.  I can record my voice reading the books and even a sweet message to my girls.  It is a way for me to connect with them when I cannot be there.

The recordable books are just precious with cute pictures and sweet stories.  It’s very easy to record your voice reading the book.  All you need is a few minutes and a quiet room and you’re done.

The book “All Day Long with Jesus” teaches kids about how Jesus is near to us at all times not matter where we are or what we are doing.  Other titles in the collection are “Bedtime Prayers and Promises”, “I Love You Head to Toe”, and “God’s Christmas Promise.”

Are you starting to think about what you will give the kids in your life for Christmas this year?  Do you have any nieces, nephews, grandkids or other kids in your life that you are away from and you want a way to show them you care about them on a regular basis?  Recordable Storybooks from DaySpring would be a great gift for the kids you love that are separated from you by miles.  Even if you aren’t separated by miles but want a way to show kids you care about them these books would make a wonderful gift!

Want to win one? DaySpring is offering a free story book to one winner. Follow the instructions below to enter to win.  Please note that the winner will receive a code for a FREE Recordable Storybook but you must pay shipping to receive it.

Disclosure: I was sent a Recordable Storybook for free to review.  As always, my opinions are my own.
