Themed Gifts: Ladybugs!

Do you have a “Little Ladybug” in your house or know someone who has taken a liking to ladybugs?  My 4th daughter is our “Little Ladybug.”  It started because we didn’t know if she would be a boy or girl and I was set on a bug theme for the nursery. So I decided to go with the theme and if I happened to have a girl I would add more red and more ladybugs.   It ended up being very cute and she now loves anything with ladybugs on it.  I know ladybugs are popular and thought I would list some of our favorite ladybug gift items.

Manhattan Toy has this adorable dress up outfit for their Stella doll
Land of Nod has this cute ladybug backpack from Beatrix.  Beatrix also makes matching lunchboxes and larger luggage with this and other kid friendly designs.

Ladybug GirlThe Grouchy LadybugLittle Ladybug: Finger Puppet Book (Finger Puppet Brd Bks)Ten Little Ladybugs

These are our favorite ladybug books.
Crocodile Creek makes this great heavy duty, textured ball for outside or inside play.

Stephen Joseph makes some adorable kid products in all different themes.  I happen to really like this ladybug Snack Sack.  Check out their whole line of ladybug items.

Lana Ladybug from Manhattan Toy Company is ladybuged out all the way to her red and black hair.

Since Sassy Baby has a ladybug as their logo you know that they are going to have some cute ladybug items in their lines.  These teethers and this bib are just a few of the ladybug themed items that they offer.

This game is a lot of fun.  My younger kids love to play it together.
This little ladybug necklace and case are very cute.  My daughter got these one year and really loved both the necklace and the case.

I keep seeing these Pillow Pets everywhere.  Apparently they are quite popular.  The Ladybug one is especially cute.

Boon Makes this really cute ladybug bath caddy and it comes in either red or pink and black.
Bananafish has this cute ladybug themed bedding set.  You can also get the individual pieces like the blanket, mobile, valance, and more. (BTW- Bananafish some adorable baby bedding designs.  Check them out here.)
We do not own one of these Wheely Bugs by Prince Lionheart but I think they are quite adorable and know my little one would love to scoot around on this.
Western Chief has ladybug rain gear that is pretty cute.
and so does Kidorable.  Kidorable has this cute raincoat and boots.
That is all for now.  If you know of others that you like I would love to hear about them!

It’s Now Easier to Find Unique Gifts for Friends from Etsy

Etsy is an amazing site to find some of the greatest gifts from some super creative and crafty people.   Etsy now allows you to search your Facebook friends to offer suggestions on gifts based on their likes on Facebook.  Simply allow Etsy access to your Facebook Page and then choose a friend that you would like gift suggestions for.  Etsy will show you a list of gift suggestions for that person.  Pretty cool!  Go here to try it out.

eos Lip Balm- Fantastic Little Spheres of Goodness

Have you seen these cute little spheres of lip loving goodness?  My sister introduced me to these little things and I am so glad she did.  I have been searching for a great lip balm that is organic, goes on smoothly and tastes good.  Too many of the ones I have tried lately are too clumpy or thin or taste a little funny.  EOS has created a fantastic lip balm that is free of all of the yucky stuff (paraben, petrolatum, and phthalate-free), smells great and is easy to apply. I love the shape too!  They are so easy to find in your purse and when you open them up to apply the lip balm it goes on easily with a wide surface area. They come in 5 yummy flavors- summer fruit, lemon drop spf 15, honeysuckle honeydew, medicated tangerine and sweet mint

Don’t tell them but I got some of these for my tween daughters stockings this year.  They keep asking to use mine and I know they’ll enjoy having their own. If you want to get some for yourself you can find them at Ulta, Target, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens and more.
