"The Wait Can Be Difficult" From ADOPTIONcards Giveaway

When I saw this card I knew that it was the kind of card that should be given more often. If you have ever adopted, or have known someone who has, then chances are that you know that the wait can be difficult and very emotional.  I love that this card offers a way for you to communicate your support to the waiting family.  ADOPTIONcards Etsy shop sells adoption themed cards like the one above and several other designs.  You can also find Gotcha Day, Adoption Day, and Congratulations cards. 
The front of this card features a silhouette of a couple with a small child.  These silhouettes can be changed to properly reflect the age of the child (or children) that is being adopted.  You can customize the inside of the card as well.  You can choose to have it blank, choose from one of the four messages shown here, or ask for a custom message printed inside.

Beautiful Custom Adoption Announcements from pipe|up

When I stumbled upon these adoption announcements I just had to share them.  They are just precious and the sentiment is so true.  These beautifully designed announcements are the the work of Heather at pipe|up.  Her Etsy shop is filled with creatively designed cards for adoption and baby announcements as well as holiday cards and wedding save the date cards.  All of her designs are customizable and any of her baby announcements can be made into adoption announcements as well. 

Her announcement designs are very reasonably priced at $15.  Once you place an order you will send her the details of how you want to customize the announcement including the size you prefer (4×6 or 5×7), a photograph, text, colors and baby/child’s info. Within 24-48 hours you will receive a proof. You can then print as many as you need as a regular photo file at a location of your choice (costco | cvs | walgreens | snapfish) and mail them to friends and family. If you would rather have them professionally press printed on card stock she can print them for you at an additional cost (see price chart here).

Simplewear "Welcomed With Love" Onesie Giveaway

This precious one would make a great “coming home” or adoption announcement photo outfit. This onesie states “Welcomed with love by:” and is customized with each parent’s name. My older girls and I had fun using the All Natural Essential Makeup Kit for Tweens.  It comes with a great variety of everything you need for makeup application.  The kit includes 5 colors of eyeshadow, foundation, blush, lotion, jojoba oil, perfume, multiple lip balms, a mirror and a bamboo applicator set (which uses only synthetic hair).  Even though the makeup is colored it goes on looking natural which is appealing in a makeup for tweens who are just starting to wear makeup or only wearing it for special occasions.  The lip balms come in a variety of colors but go on like a gloss that highlights the girl’s natural lip color.  The makeup comes off as easily as it goes on.  You can use a moist tissue or a natural oil such as the jojoba oil that is included in the kit. 
This kit will last you for a while and will be a great starter kit for your tween.  I think most girls would be thrilled to receive this kit as a birthday gift or stocking stuffer.  Luna Organics has several other items and kits that are fun for girls.  They have 4 different play makeup sets that are great for younger girls who want to wear makeup when they dress up.  You can also find all natural face paint and a party favor set that would be a big hit at a girls party!
