Dressing Kids with Style and Savings

Thank you Old Navy for sponsoring my post today about baby and toddler styles. Old Navy is giving you 30% off everything in their baby and toddler summer collection, plus get an additional 15% off in-store.

Sweet and sassy, cool and casual, hip, frilly with lace…  Kids seem to develop their own style regardless of how we choose to dress them.  Whether it’s always reaching for the dress when we want them to put on the cute capri pants outfit we just got, or always going for the soft t-shirts over the button up polos, kids seem to know what they like, and pretty early on.
Honestly my favorite styles for my kids are usually the ones that they come up with on their own.  I may pick out a sweet dress with sandals and before I can grab the sandals my daughter has pulled on some rain boots and it looks adorable.  I don’t always allow them to pick their clothes but I love it when their little personalities shine through what they wear.
I have learned over time to pick clothing for my kids that is cute and easy to keep looking nice.  I save the items that will need to be ironed for church or special occasions and stick with knits and fabrics that come out of the dryer without wrinkles.  We love the very affordable t-shirts and play clothes at Old Navy for every day wear.
We save money on clothes by shopping sales, clearance racks and stocking up on the out of season clothes for the next year. Shopping online is my favorite way to shop because it saves me the hassle of taking little ones out. I also like to shop for kids clothes at consignment stores and I look for certain brands that I know hold up well and are fashionable.  Another way we like to save on kids clothing is by holding a clothing swap and swapping clothes and shoes with friends.   It is lots of fun to get together and everyone walks away with some great new (to them) clothes.

What are the ways you like to save money on your kids clothing?  Does your little one have a unique style?  I would love to hear about it!
I was selected for this sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do.
